Severe Flooding in Pakistan - Why Help is Needed
August 2010
1,600 people are dead. Over 20 million more people are still in real danger as the rains continue to pour down. Indeed it's been declared Pakistan's worst flood in 80 years.
Diseases including cholera and dysentery are now serious threats to thousands more people and will endanger lives long after the rains have stopped. This is why we must act immediately.
There are various charity campaigns running to help the situation, huge amounts of money are needed to keep these going. Further details of some of these campaigns, including how to donate can be found on the links below. Please note that online or card donating is entirely at your own risk, Christys Club cannot be responsible for any problems arising from this. If you're unsure how to donate electronically, it is suggested you either do it via post, or seek help from a friend, family member, or carer.
